Annie Griffin
Sisters and Memphis, Tennesseans, Annie Griffin and Robin Gerber never dreamed at ages 27 and 23 they would be running their own business. Annie, a life long artist with an eye for design, and Robin, an outgoing and gregarious sort, saw an opportunity to combine their talents and forge into the world of fashion. They are Southern girls first and hope to invoke that Delta spirit into their designs.
Annie’s extensive background in art and design has enabled her to bring to life her own apparel creations. Annie studied studio art with a concentration in painting at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Her years at SMU helped cultivate her talent for design and use of color. After college, Annie moved to Atlanta where she continued her painting while working in an upscale women’s boutique, then on to work for a well-renowned interior designer. Realizing her true passion for fashion design, she enrolled in Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta where she was inspired and encouraged to start her own company.
Robin, a recent University of GA graduate, found her niche in sales at a boutique in Athens, GA. This led her to New York where she landed an internship at KCD, a top fashion / marketing firm. She worked for Annie Griffin Collection on her days off helping with sales and marketing. It didn’t take long for Annie to realize the potential of a partnership.

Annie Griffin Collection was founded in August of 2009, and the line is being sold in nearly one hundred and fifty boutiques nationwide. The collection provides a feminine, classic alternative to women who love to look their best. Annie’s designs are inspired by her artistic background, love of color, and personal desire for comfortable, yet flattering clothes. The Annie Griffin Collection is distinguished by a retro flair, channeling soft and feminine silhouettes from an earlier era. While prices are attainable, her designs embody the richness of fine textiles, which evoke a stylish confidence in the women who wear them.
Although the sisters have very different lifestyles, they couldn’t manage without their AGC staples. Robin, young, single and always on the go, wears them to work, on a date and fun nights out in the city. And Annie, married and a bit more settled loves wearing her designs to special functions such as weddings, dinner parties and showers. “Style shouldn’t be work. It should be fun. My designs are easy to wear, but they also have a modern flair that makes you feel good.” Griffin believes her designs outlive trends. They are versatile and effortless, and that’s what classic fashion is all about.
